Trained as an illustrator at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Michelle comes to her work using a very technical yet generative method. Until 2011 she has worked as an artist in the Chicago advertising world. There she made use of heavy cultural and psychological imagery and audio aimed at altering the awareness, and thereby, the consciousness of many people. Since then Michelle has focused on expanding the scope of her work and completing the series The Catalouge of Extraordinary Beings. This series aims at the creation of new, uncontrolled, unadulterated and inspiring memes and archetypes unhindered by logic or precedent. In addition, Michelle continues to work as a freelance artist, illustrator, graphic designer, and animator.
