Center For Information Technology Services (Wi-CITS)

Graphic Designer

The Center for Information Technology Services (Wi-CITS) is a student-run organization that creates web sites and provides other supports to local businesses. I do graphic design work, part-time, for projects that I am asked to help with. I am currently doing branding for a start-up company that will provide business opportunities to people, mostly women, of underprivileged areas of the world. I am able to work directly with the client(s) so that I am able to understand and achieve the look and feel of the company that they want. I enjoy creating designs for the company that will be strong and memorable because I feel that their mission in creating a better life for those individuals is a powerful one.

Illustrator

I create illustrations for animated videos that the UW-Whitewater Police Department will use. The purpose behind the videos is to go by the content of their handbook and students with fines will have to watch these videos and take quizzes based off of them. The illustrations I create are focused on the content and the audience watching them. I collaborate with my partner who does the animating and puts the content into the videos for viewers to read.
