I manage the daily operations of the scene building shop of the University Theatre. I provide tool operation and safety training for new students. Associate Instructor-X158-Culture of College
I was the instructor of record for two sections of X158-Culture of College. This course was part of the Student Academic Center which is a program for students on academic probation. I was in charge of the daily curriculum loosely based on the class text, On Course. I was also responsible for two Peer Instructors, one for each class, to assign each a part of the lesson to prepare. I designed a number of quizzes, mid-term exams, research projects and many other writing and public speaking assignments. I also facilitated two hour-long workshops per semester on topics of academic success.

I was the instructor of record for 3D Design, an Fundamentals-level course in sculpture. I designed assignments around a fixed set of materials (Ceramic, steel wire, plaster, wood and cardboard). I gave a variety of formal and informal demonstrations on technique, tool use/safety, lectures and artist presentations. I lead classroom critiques as well as provided written feedback on graded projects.

Maintained a level of productivity to generate nearly $100,000 a year (gross) for the frame shop alone.
