= a fresh mind in a head, decorated with the first grey hair + an ability to combine experiences with dozens of incubated, imaginative ideas. I'm a big fan of colours & design, peoples & travels. Wanting to make an everyday visual reality a bit prettier, more friendly, tailored to our personal needs and preferences.

I used to be an editor/producer of a few magazines in Poland, an on-line writer, a journalist, a copy-writer, a work at home mum of two great kids, a trailing spouse, a translator, a language teacher, an amateur painter and finally... I became a happy freelance graphic designer, apparently based in Prague (Czech Republic). In short - I've always been an amicable creature who believed that our good deeds, responsible and honest work, can change the world, or at least the nearest part of it.

My main goal NOW
is to make or revamp the ordinary utilitarian things which we use on a regular basis into more appealing, unique objects. Why? Because I know, that beauty and harmony of an exterior can strongly influence our 'internal environment'. The same way as a freshly brewed coffee or a favorite song might boost our mood on the most dark and gloomy Monday. Furthermore, nowadays a print on demand service is not only worldwide available but as well affordable financially. So than, even with a small budget we can freely spoil ourselves with an unique piece of craft or an interior decoration, which will give our home or office a new character.

What am I good at and what I want to excel in is
logo and brand identity; personalized gifts and home decor ideas; handmade and digital illustrations and pieces of fine art; a customized stationary and patterns design; wisely retouched photos (portraits and products); all-purpose small prints and digital scrapbooks. Lately, my new passion became web design, which is ruled by the same golden rules: utilitarian and aesthetic values combined with mindfulness = a proper content.
It would be hard to name me a tech-geek, but
I can honestly describe myself as a big adventurer of mixed media techniques. I'm always eager to combine the manual skills and shrewdness of a regular 'of-line' doodler with the unbeatable functionality of Adobe CS, its digital canvas, layers and tools. So far, I'm already closely befriended with Illustrator, discovering the Photoshop's secret's and constantly being amused with all utilitarian values of InDesign, this user-friendly 'matchmaking' tool.

Despite of being a HTML, CSS and social media beginner...
I live long enough to recognize the periodical echoing of the 'always good' design trends and motives, spot those kitschy ones and – if it's really needed – implement the most suitable cocktail of both. I'm simply the kind of a pragmatic & inventive soul, usually ready to humbly accept the unpredictable truth of client's ways of thinking.

I hold a master degree in the science of culture, which often helps me to accept the vast diversity of human's sense of style, aesthetic taste and cultural backgrounds. It's obvious that the contemporary art enthusiasts, as well as hordes of us – art novae worshipers – have exactly the same rights to feel happy and fulfilled with their design as the others: all templates lovers, digital scrap bookers or manga fans. There is enough space for all of us... with our exotic visual flavors and beauty definitions.

I strongly believe in
the power of networking, grass roots initiatives, a global sisterhood and a career reactivation . I'm constantly learning, making mistakes, polishing my graphic and business skills. I watch around, research, take a design courses and spend a plenty of time self-studying. At the end I must thank you all – my anonymous, inspiring cyber-friends, experienced gurus with channels full of tutorials and you, talented kids – who create those useful freebies and mock-ups and patiently give advises on forums.

THANKS & keep enjoying your work! I promise the same :o)
