Bio:
Marsha is a detail-oriented system thinker with a diverse background in both advertising and technology design. This enables her to work well as a liaison between implementation teams. Her past work includes user experience design, user interaction design and information architecture for global clients on various devices and channels: responsive web, mobile devices and point of sale. Her creative contributions include significant touch points in the customer life cycle: social media, shopping carts, in-store experience, customer rewards, games, virtual currencies, coupons, and more. Sound marketing, strategy, user centered design, research and business development solutions are at the core of her work. Areas of experience include technology companies, e-commerce, financial services and mobile start-ups.

My process can vary depending on the project type, team and company.
A general way I will start can include:

Looking at the business problems that need to be solved and then take in to consideration all of the various stake holder needs and wishes and the skills of all supporting team members. Often I start with various degrees of research sometimes very in-depth on a global scale other times more casual reference material is gathered. Once needed insight is gained anything from pixel perfect visual design, various fidelity wireframes or rough sketches either hand drawing or photoshop mock ups would be started and immediately shared with the team as a work in progress to get everyone on the same page and start a dialogue. Designs are finessed accordingly there on out creating any number of assets all the way to slicing for a dev team. Read Less
