I have been working as a graphic designer since 1991, and as a digital designer since 1998. Currently working at Pipar TBWA in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Most important in my work is that design has to make sense. It has to declutter the briefing and focus upon what the client needs to communicate to build their brand and move more products. And every dot has to be there for that reason.

Even for websites to complex to fit within Webflow I still use it for visual design, as a tool to present the design to clients and to hand it over to developers. It eliminates endless misunderstandings and the code is clean enough to not horrify a developer. Read Less

Aside from my day job, have I initiated and ran for 5 years the Icelandic Cultural Foundation, "Reykjavik to". During this time it has organised 3 Icelandic Cultural Festivals in Rotterdam under the title Reykjavik to Rotterdam. The biggest festival screened over 50 movie titles and demanded 30 musicians to be flown over from Iceland.

"Reykjavik to" has also partaken in an International festival in Mexico City and has build up connections with leading venues across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and America.

Due to the financial crisis that hit Iceland in 2008 where we forced to stop our activities, since it was no longer possible to raise the needed funding for it. Read Less
