Over the course of his career with Deutsche Bank, Managing Director Manuel Maximino has demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of emerging markets trade and derivative securities. He first joined the team at Deutsche Bank as the winner of a selection competition in 2004, at which time he began serving in the bank's Buenos Aires, Argentina, office. Soon named to the bank's training program, Manuel Maximino relocated to London, where he built a strong knowledge base in credit and interest rates derivatives.

After completing his training, Manuel Maximino relocated to New York City as an analyst with Deutsche Bank's Emerging Markets Division. Successful in trading swaps and interest rate options in the local markets of Mexico, he refined his skills in pricing, quoting, and hedging. He continued to refine these skills in his subsequent role as an associate within the firm's Latin America exotics desk, where he held responsibility for the desk's local markets books.

Since that time, Manuel Maximino has advanced to senior leadership positions in the firm's London and New York offices. Also a regular consultant to corporate issuers and national government agencies, he served the High Court of the United Kingdom as the primary expert witness in a high-profile 2013 fraud case. He now leads as head of Deutsche Bank's Latin America derivatives and fixed income trading. Read Less
