Malak Elabbar is a 24 years old self-made artist from Benghazi, she's an architect and an experienced graphic designer, participated in a number of local exhibitions held in Benghazi and was invited by the Institut français de Tunisie to represent her city Benghazi in the exhibition dedicated to Libya , she's also one of many artists who participated in the Imago Mundi-Libya: Hurriya collection, and recently worked on an art project with the BBC media action

Malak's artwork is inspired by the bold colors and shapes of the African culture with a modern twist to it, creating abstract faces and shapes that each viewer sees in his own way allowing the receiver to be a part of the artwork.
