Luis Orozco

Computational Designer / PhD Researcher

Luis is a Research Associate at the Institute for Computational Design (ICD) at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He is part of the new Cluster of Excellence on Integrative Computational Design and Construction for Architecture (IntCDC). His research agenda focuses on novel automated wood building systems for robotic prefabrication and on-site cyber-physical assembly.

Previously, he worked as a Computational Designer at HKS Architects in London. He applied computational design techniques to facade rationalisation, complex geometry, and environmental design with a focus on Healthcare and Stadium projects throughout Europe and the MENA Region.
