Autism and Empathy
Interdisciplinary student team using Design Thinking and process to evaluate, connect, reframe, and problem solve issues surrounding empathy towards individuals on the Autistic Spectrum. Our yearlong project is a story sharing initiative called the Empathy Box. 2013 participant in the Dell Social Innovation Challenge.

3D: Studio experience in Fibers and Dyeing, Hand Weaving, Dobby Interfaced Weaving, Jacquard Weaving, Fabric Manipulation, and Single and Double Bed Machine Knitting. Basic knowledge of wood fabrication, intermediate skills in moldmaking, sculpting, and casting processes.
Digital: Adobe Creative Suite programs of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Ned Graphics. Weave Point, PointCarre, Practiced in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
