Monica Gallagher is an indie creator with over ten years experience making comics and illustrations with a positive, feminist spin. She has worked for Oni Press, Vertigo, and the Baltimore City Paper, and as well as self-published several of her own mini-comics and books. Her latest book, Part-Time Princesses, was released by Oni Press on March 25, 2015 and nominated by YALSA as a Great Graphic Novel for Teens. Currently, Monica has a webcomics series she updates twice weekly about the adventures of a roller-girl at her day job, called Bonnie N. Collide, Nine to Five.

When she’s not perusing the cheese plates of restaurants or hunting down shades of red lipstick, Monica designs websites for her day job and works on freelance comics and illustrations. For short-term projects, click here for info on how to get started or send her an email to inquire about rates. For longer term comics projects, feel free to contact her agent Michelle Humphrey at The Martha Kaplan Agency.

In 2013, Monica started up Bmore Into Comics, a series of small, one-day shows featuring comics creators exhibiting their work in local businesses throughout Baltimore.

Monica currently resides in Baltimore with her husband and their two dueling cats. Read Less
