Developed three 4000-level courses in graphic communications: Graphic Design Studio (for the development of technical proficiency in design software); Electronic Portfolio Development (for developing and distributing networked portfolios from the perspective of design students and visual thinkers); and Sustainable Graphic Design, to promote a holistic approach to design thinking. Taught a fun Typography course Sp '12 that explored traditional and non-traditional manifestations of language. Resident teaching artist

Developed a curriculum for sound art and taught it for Cepa's Writing with Light: Soundscapes teaching residency. Writing with Light: Soundscapes uses the power of photography, sound (found or created) and poetry to create individual works of art around a central, relevant theme for 7th grade students. Developed a comprehensive series of lessons focused on learning about the nature of sound and producing sound art work with Cepa staff, teaching photographer and teaching poet.

Organized, managed and provided support for AIGA task forces and initiatives.
