Industrial Design Contractor
Assisted trend forecasting and textile creation for 2011 product lineup as well as color ways. Translated runway styles to the Speck brand in the forms of patterns and textiles which were successfully selected to be in retail in Spring/Summer 2011. Continuously made product specs as well as became familiar with dye sublimation, laser cutting and vendor relations. Worked within a team environment on a daily basis between project management, engineering and marketing to create meaningful products.

Hired as the Industrial designer for packaging and accessories project for up and coming tea company for ideation, concept development and rendering under strict timeline. In charge of primary design decisions between management and graphics as well as managed a variety of side projects involving furniture design & construction, environmental renders and project pitching.

Design co-op for both Goody and Solano brands. Co-led designs for 2010 Professional Line brushes and accessories as well as rebranding effort for newly added Solano. In charge of brainstorming concepts, ideation, 3-D modeling, photoshop applications, rapid prototyping (on-site) and communication between manufacturing vendors and marketing teams. Was able to place multiple products in production for expected launch of April, 2010.

Internship within the Pampers brand division where I primarily worked within the upstream sustainability team and strategy teams. Responsible for sketch ideations, iteration variations with seamstresses and group collaboration. Additionally, created environmental in-store concepts and renderings. Became very fluent in project management as well as consumer research strategy. Helped to facilitate eco-friendly diapers research and testing on-site.

Member of design team for wet products. Responsible for designs of upcoming water filtration units, dispensers, dishwashers and various other areas of the General Electric Appliance company. Sketched daily and became proficient modeling in Solidworks and rendering in addition to tools in Adobe suite. Was a critical team member to the dishwashing/wet products design team. Was able to place numerous parts into production for 2009 and complete water dispensing system for 2010.
