Kenneth Goldman, President of Kenneth Goldman Inc. Rare Coin Co. is a rare coins dealer, collector, and trader with more than 50 years of experience in the field of numismatics. He has established strong relationships with dealers through his agency Kenneth Goldman, Inc., which is a premier coin dealer in the United States. Throughout his career, he has applied his expertise in rare coins to help clients build collections and assesses the value of items prior to purchasing or selling.
Maintaining the most up-to-date knowledge to serve his clientele, he holds life membership in the American Numismatic Association and has membership in virtually all major numismatic organizations in the USA. In addition, Mr. Goldman attends major conventions and auctions throughout the United States. His expertise has earned him status as an expert witness for the New York Attorney General’s Office and the Federal Trade Commission. He regularly provides consultations to coin dealers, collectors, investors, estates, and auction houses.
In addition, Mr. Goldman has been involved in the cataloging of antiques for the world's leading auction houses---Christie's, Sotheby's and Bonhams.
Mr. Goldman was instrumental in the selling of a 1975 Proof Set with a No S Dime for his long time client--realizing the incredible price of nearly $350,000. This is far and away, a record price for a modern issue coin. This result had the entire numismatic field in disbelief as to how anyone could have achieved a result that was multiples of what others thought this coin would be worth on the best of days.
In addition, Mr. Goldman recently arranged for the selling of the Tom Reynolds Collection of Highly Important large cents via auction. This collection realized over $7 Million---making it one of the largest grossing sales of Large Cents in recent history.
In addition to his deep insight into numismatics, he has knowledge of other collectibles, such as Wedgwood pottery, antique pocket watches, automatic musical instruments, and many other antiques and collectibles.
