Senior Photographer

As a Senior Photographer my role entailed setting up the photo studio from the ground up including selecting and purchasing of appropriate camera gear, lenses, studio strobes, screens, c-stands, booms and other equipment for day-to-day photo studio tasks with the main focus on improving the quality and efficiency of product photography for online retail.
Daily tasks included keeping track of photo and design projects, planning product photoshoots, managing a Studio Assistant/Junior Photographer and an Editor/Retoucher within my team.

Workflow design:
Responsible for creating and managing scalable workflow from product photography, through post-processing, editing, and filing. Creating guidelines, templates and automation for teams to speed up repetitive tasks, increase efficiency and reduce mistakes. Training team members to improve their skill sets and software proficiency, specifically in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Capture One where necessary.

Other responsibilities:
Collaborating with brand stakeholders and the Graphics team to create branding guidelines for Amazon marketplace. Working with Graphic Designer to create a visual identity for a number of brands under Redfits management. Development of distinct photography, layout and graphics styles, in conjunction with packaging, social media, websites, and print ads that separate us from the competition in an online retail environment and beyond.

Hold multiple patents on the hanger designs, know-how, and retail display solutions developed for brands such as Walmart, and Anglo-Italian.

Packaging design - retail, point of sale. Keyline design, mock-up making using industry standard CAD/CAM cutter machines, large format EFI printing.

Work on live projects - design from concept to CAD, FEA testing. Managing projects globally with teams in New York, Hong Kong and Turkey.
