Working with the design team I edited textile repeats, created neon animal illustrations, did color corrections and online publicity and graphic design for the Mara Hoffman label.

Company Illustrator

I work with designers from the women's, men's and children's departments as well as for the accesory line and the Marketing department. Based on a briefing from the fashion designer I propose textile graphics and illustrations with their vision in mind. I use a variety of tools both tecnical: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and traditional: hand drawing, water colour, or collage. I am knowlegable of different textile printing methods and their posabilities and restrictions and keep them in mind while creating print. i am also required to constantly be researching grafic trends in the art and fashion worlds in order for my work to be current.

Graphic designer

As the graphic designer for the childrens clothing department at Desigual I not only created textile prints, I was also required to work closely with the designer, buyer,product manager and the supplier following prints and garments through production. I drew the garments using Adobe illustator and completed the tecnical files explaing them for the supplier. Aside from learning many production processes, I learned the importance of working in a team of profesionals.

I began working at desigual as an intern for the children´s department at desigual. I became familiar for the time line and process of creating a line of clothing. I was able to apply skills learned in school, especially computer skills to working in a profesional enviroment.

I assisted the graphic designer at Jordi Labanda´s studio preparing original artworks to become prints for clothing and accesories. I was required to alter or clean prints, reducing the colours of images or resizing them.
