Kaye Pienaar

Producer | Lead Creative

Cape Town, South Africa
I love to create things that look good, and matter to someone. Panoramic photos, video content for the edTech industry, live VJ'ing and building sustainable identities are the four corners of my creative world. Oh, and I love words. And making people laugh with them.

Dean of Faculty

The experience as Dean of Faculty helped me foster stronger managerial and leadership skills while assuming full responsibility for the following academic aspects of the business:
- registration protocols,
- academic year planning,
- assessment & moderation processes,
- regulatory & compliance matters,
- new product development,
- academic quality assurance of programmes,
- pedagogical enhancement,
- research and work integrated learning strategies,
- event management (annual Student Showcase and Graduation events),
- strategic input for faculty and programme development,
- management and support of academic operations,
- development of governance policies and processes,
- faculty academic staffing approvals.

I have a demonstrable track record leveraging sustainable project management systems for instructional design processes, and academic admin protocols and student tracking systems which can be implemented at any institution.

These systems were instrumental in redeveloping and upholding the Faculty’s academic programs for contact and distance learning modules delivered via the Institution’s learner management system.

My experience in dealing with external bodies such as the Council on Higher Education (for regulatory affairs) and other academic quality assurance processes (such as student work placements and external moderation) will easily translate into other environments where acquiring new business, partnerships and key stakeholders are concerned.
