An Illinois-based nurse with extensive experience in labor and delivery assistance as well department management, Judith Abraham most recently served seven months as manager of women's services at Chicago's St. Anthony Hospital. There, she led staff efforts to earn the hospital the first Joint Commission Perinatal Certification in Illinois. Judith Abraham previously held management roles at Wyoming's Thermopolis Hospital and Centegra Hospital in McHenry, Illinois. She served as interim director of obstetrics at the Wyoming-based hospital and was hired with the goal of modernizing the unit.

As a nurse, Judith Abraham gained hands-on experience with Northwest Community Hospital, Central DuPage Hospital, and St. Alexius Hospital, but spent most of her career at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, working there from 1988 to 2007. In 2004, she was honored as "I'm Your Advocate" for her work in helping to save the life of a patient and her baby. That same year, she was named Nurse of the Year in the Chicago Sun-Times Newspaper after the publication shared a submitted story from the husband of the aforementioned patient.

Mrs. Abraham received a master's degree in organizational leadership from Lewis University in 2016 and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Elmhurst College in 2011. She also holds a diploma degree in nursing from St. Francis Hospital's School of Nursing, where she was elected class president. Read Less
