Born in 1990 and raised in Bolivia, Jorge R. Canedo Estrada moved to Mexico when he was 15 and has been moving around ever since. Jorge ("Jr.canest", a lover of music, different art forms, technology and society; someone that wouldn't be here if it wasn't because of God's grace) has spent his life trying to understand how things work and their purpose. Now he applies this curiosity and his skills to what he loves to do, Animation & Design.

After the camera became one of his and his brother’s favorite toys, he discovered the world of digital design and he started to learn by himself. At the age of 17, he won a full Scholarship to Vancouver Film School and is now a graduate from the VFS Digital Design program. He is constantly looking to gain more experience in his field and constantly being amazed by incredible animation, art, design or something completely... random.

After school, he became an animator at Buck and later worked at Giant Ant as an Animator & Creative Director.
He has been a finalist and has won some international awards and recognition; he is a strong believer in audio-driven animation; and he will spend hours walking or riding his bike outside in the rain, hanging out with his awesome wife, trying to make his son laugh or creating the perfect curve of animation.
