As a User Interface Engineer I developed style guides for B2Buy, Fedboss, and Universal Market Place websites. I created wireframes and mock ups of a new iPhone and iPad applications for B2Buy being developed in parallel with the B2Buy website. I took the initiative to start a HTML markup, JavaScript/jQuery, and CSS styles code review that resulted in a code refactoring effort. The code refactoring effort included the reworking of all HTML markup and CSS styles to ensure that all elements were based on the Bootstrap framework HTML markup, and used the Bootstrap framework CSS styles as a base. I also developed prototypes for new features being developed for Fedboss and Universal Market Place. I completed a trade study on various browsers compatibly and section 508 companies and presented them to my management.

As a Software Developer I worked on designing and developing a new version of the Geospatial Intelligence Framework Web Dissemination platform (GIFWeb) using the open source Content Management System Plone. I worked on creating the initial wireframes used during development, and ensured that GIFWeb was cross-browser compatible. I performed a cost-benefit analysis and author recommendations on upgrading SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013 with 5 different SharePoint venders.

As a Front-End Developer I worked on updating the Commercial Joint Mapping Toolkit to a more modern front-end look without modifying the backend server code. I used Adobe Proto app to quickly design prototypes to show management, and was able to finalize a design quickly. I used Twitter Bootstrap, and JQuery to quickly develop the layout and theme.
