An experienced Animal Trainer, Zoo Curator, and Wildlife Consultant, Josh Ruffell grew up with a strong fascination for reptiles. His first pet snake, which he acquired during his early teenage years, was a Ball Python. As a professional, he has worked with a wide variety of animals. Some of his credits include: seagulls for the television show Two and a Half Men, tarantulas for the television show Days of our Lives, a King Cobra for the film G.I. Joe, Chuckwalla lizards for the film Failure to Launch, scorpions for the film Hidalgo, rats for the film Garfield and various snake species and tarantulas for the film Cheaper by the Dozen. Josh Ruffell has also served as a Wildlife Consultant for the CBS reality show Survivor.

Mr. Ruffell most recently served a two-year tenure as Assistant Curator at Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Australia. In this position he shared management oversight of general zoo operations as well as being directly in charge of six different departments that required expertise in areas that ranged from wildlife shows and animal care to groundskeeping and audiovisual services.
