ONE Campaign

Congressional District Leader, District 1

ONE is a grassroots campaign and advocacy organization backed by more than 2 million people who are committed to the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa.

As a Congressional District Leader with ONE, I am responsible for planning and implementing local initiatives within my congressional district. At ONE, we achieve change through advocacy. We hold world leaders to account for the commitments they've made to fight extreme poverty, and we campaign for better development policies, more effective aid and trade reform. We also support greater democracy, accountability and transparency to ensure policies to beat poverty are implemented effectively.

I worked on several projects as a freelancer at Oblique Design including several projects for BMW including web banners and a t shirt designed specifically for a women's motorcycle gathering in Aspen, Colorado.

AIGA Colorado

Partnership Director

As the Partnership Director for AIGA Colorado I was responsible for developing sponsorship relationships and opportunities with like minded businesses and organizations in and outside of Colorado as it relates to AIGA Colorado's chapter initiatives, goals and events.

As such, I was involved with many of the events our chapter hosted. I was one of two organizers of Bordo Bello (bordobello.com), a skateboard deck show and auction where designers and artists design skateboard decks which are then auctioned off to support local charities and initiatives for our chapter. We raised $20,000 for the 2011 event!

I have worked with Behance, Pinball Publishing, Emma.com, Threadless, Veer, Integer, AdamsMorioka, Jessica Hische, Public School, Will Bryant, and Odell Brewing Company in my capacity as Partnership Director.

AIGA Colorado, Bordo Bello

Co-Director, Bordo Bello 2011

As Co-Director for planning Bordo Bello, a skateboard deck art fundraiser, I was in charge of many aspects of the planning process for this popular event as well as co-managing a planning committee for the event.

In it's fourth year, Bordo Bello continues to grow and gain recognition. Last year we raised $20,000 and had 500+ attend the one night event, with 280 local and international award winning designers and artists participating, and we continue to grow and expand what the event is and becomes.

Membership Chair

As the Membership Chair for AIGA Colorado I was responsible for assisting the Membership Director in developing the membership aspect for our chapter. During my tenure as Membership Chair I created a membership brochure containing information on our chapter and AIGA in general. I also represented AIGA National at the HOW design conference in May, 2010 at the AIGA Lounge in the membership capacity.
