Garner Magnet High School and NCArtists

Raleigh, NC, USA
A "shadow artist" I've found a home teaching Digital Photography in an International Baccalaureate High School. Still hoping to emerge from the shadows as a photographer in my own right. To that end I am slowly working on a series of color abstractions in nature tentatively titled "Elemental Concerns". Most of the material posted here will be works in progress for online courses with the Adobe Education Exchange. Eventually, I plan to post more of my own work. If you're interested in what a shadow artist is and why you'd like to emerge refer to a classic book by Julia Cameron "The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity.

GMHS is a Magnet School. Our magnet is the International Baccalaureate program. Some years ago I developed curricula for the courses Magnet Digital Photography 1 and Magnet Digital Photography 2. The courses are designed for 10th, 11th and 12th grade students and are in high demand. I typically teach 168 students per year.
