Apart of my degree, we are asked to look for work experience for a month near the end of second year. I managed to find a placement at a printing company in Basildon. There I learnt how to use most of the machinery there, for example the litho printers, folding machines, cutting machines, etc. I also learnt briefly how to use a software called Apogee to impose all the artwork in order to make plates to put on the litho printers.
