Senior Interior Architect
Denise founded the Design Office for this International Irish Pub Fit-out Company, from organising systems and proceedures to sourcing and managing staff and sub-contractors.
She travelled to sites accross Europe and the U.S. assessing feasability and pitching for projects on behalf of the company. In addition to designing Irish Bars within local regulations and with language differences, she project managed the fit-outs with the in-house joinery team and external subcontractors.
The company, being one of 4 Guinness-approved Design & Build Suppliers of Irish Pubs at that time, worked closely with Guinness in designing one-off concepts for Hotel Bars, Female Friendly Bars etc.. Duties involved presenting these schemes to select groups of Guinness Clients and representing the company at social events such as The Galway Races, and Pub Tours so that Guinness Clients could explore the design of Irish Pubs with an expert guide.
Denise worked on contract to O'Sullivan Interiors for two years following her departure to set up Fineline Design.
