Daniel Oran
Photographer and Printmaker
Cambridge, MA, USAAs an artist I seek to explore the boundaries of what defines Photography (light-drawing). I work to create unique artistic practices by manipulating forms of light and photographic materials. In making my images I take on the roles of sculptor, painter, scientist, and inventor coupled with that of a photographer. With my work I hope to explore the fundamental reactions of the psyche to imagery that, while abstract, is representative of the forces that comprise our world.
