Creative Director / Product Development Associate

Diversity is a big part of who I am as a creative. I love exploring new territory and pushing myself to learn new skill sets. As a photographer and designer I’m always telling stories, and this mindset leaks out into every part of my creative process. I am a problem solver and a story teller. I’m always looking to make the story better by pushing myself and finding a way to tell the story in new ways.

Work Experience

Bentonville Merchants Inc.

Creative Director / Product Development Associate

Bentonville Merchants Inc. is primarily a sales and marketing company. My job with them started as a freelance gig doing packaging design and branding for a few of their clients. Since then I have become a full time employee and their senior creative director.

Most of our clients are factories, inventors and entrepreneurs who are trying to land a spot on the shelf in Walmart or Sam's Club. Because we have such a wide range of clients and products my job is very broad. A lot of what I do day to day involves designing packaging and in store displays for our items. Many of our clients do not understand the American consumer market and so they come to us to help them with their design needs. For this reason, I am often doing branding and product development for many of our client's items. At Bentonville Merchants there is nothing that is out of our ballpark. My responsibilities are to meet every design need that our clients come to us with whether it be branding, web design, display design, in store signage, packaging, product development or presentation design. There is nothing we will say no to.

Some of the clients that I have done design work for:

Mossy Oak Outdoors
Vidi Action Cam
Impact Gel
Daplie Cloud
Cube
Barra
Ozark Trail
Black Web

I worked closely with the head designer and assisted in designing various print and digital files. We worked with clients like Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Shiloh Christian School and Mercy Hospital. YWAM - Kyiv

Designer/Photographer

This past summer I was able to travel to Budapest, Hungary where a team of 10 designers and photographers spent 2 weeks working closely with an organization called Youth With A Mission. Our goal for the trip was to connect with the YWAM base in Kyiv, Ukraine and work on a re-branding and advertising campaign. For two weeks our team collaborated and created a new, unifying brand as well as various advertising materials such as banners, posters, postcards, T shirts etc.. Throughout the process I was put in charge of two big parts of the project. The first was designing a series of postcards to advertise different parts of their ministry, and secondly I was assigned to gather all of the files and set them up for print. Essentially everyone would bring their completed design files to me and I would check them for errors and make sure they were press ready.
