Dedicated and innovative designer with more than 5 years of experience in print design, freelance project works, and branding. Extensive experience in developing advertising campaigns and studio graphic design. Conferred with global clients including advertising firms in Iran. Served as a teaching assistant at Louisiana State University for three years developing designs for various university departments. Collaborated with design teams along with creation of individual projects.
Gazelle Naghsh was born in Tehran, Iran. she attended Azad University’s college of Art and Architecture, and graduated in 2006 with her Bachelor of Fine Art degree. Afterwards, Gazelle worked for various advertising agencies, business clients, and artists in Tehran designing commercial brands, print and publication material, and packaging, Gazelle graduated with her MFA from Louisiana State University. Currently, she is a member of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS), Icograda, and the New Orleans chapter of AIGA. Also she is an active artist focusing on Iranian American cultural and identity concerns. Her narrative works uses the multimedia forms of digital collage, video, sound installation, and photography. Her persian perspective reflects a nostalgia for her cultured past, while documenting her transition as she adjusts to a new culture. She is residing in the United States since 2013, in pursuit of her goal to share her Middle Eastern heritage and viewpoint with a western audience.
