I am a graphic designer based in London. I help run a small studio which deals with print, branding and UI design.
We find that traditional design experience in print provides us with a deeper skill set for digital design, particularly UI (user interface) design. But the opposite is also true. The new trends and ideas in digital design are playing a much larger role in contemporary print design. Bringing these together makes for richer, more integrated design.
I first stared working for Latitude in 2009. As a self taught graphic designer, they took me on and showed me what it entails to be part of a running studio and doing the basics of setting up work for print, client facing and taking briefs as well as concept sketching and taking initial ideas through to design and implementation.
In 2010 I became a partner when we scaled down the studio and took to our new way of remote working.
