I won't say that I am "passionate" about graphic design because I try to avoid clichés that are overused to the point of meaninglessness. But you don't spend time doing what you don't love, so I will let the numbers speak for themselves:

I began using desktop publishing software in 1984. Beginning with Quark XPress, Photoshop, and Illustrator, I now use InDesign for page layout along with the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite. Malcolm Gladwell’s “10,000-Hour Rule” states that the key to success in any field is practicing a specific skill for 10,000 hours.

I have 25 years of daily graphic design software experience x 40 hrs/wk x 50 wks/yr = 50,000 hours.

That makes me an expert times five!

Rebranded primary client E.A.R, Inc. (a worldwide manufacturer of hearing protection based in Boulder, CO.), and established “style bible” for print and web. Designed and oversaw printing of all print pieces for offset and large format printing. Tabletop product photography for print and web.

Designed and oversaw printing of course catalogs, annual reports, direct mail, and ads for AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Worked with Sibley Peteet agency to establish branding guidelines and worked within style bible specifications.

Other clients have included Rude Mechanicals (theatre troupe), Enviromedia Social Marketing, KGSR-FM, Austin Symphony Orchestra, and the Houston Art Car Club.
