Luke Fragello

Director of New Media Communication

Huntingdon, PA, USA
I am a passionate and constant learner working in the marketing field; more specifically in Higher Education marketing. With experience in video/photo production and editing, social media marketing, and social analytics, I believe I bring a wide variety of technical skills to the table. As a creative individual and digital marketer, my job is to tell stories. I enjoy working for an organization that will let me tell their story as it relates to improving the community around us.

Since June 2014, I have been working as the Director of New Media Communication at Juniata College (Huntingdon, Pa). While in this role, I have managed and trained a team 10-12 student workers to produce video and other new media content to market Juniata. Some projects I'm most proud of include: the overhaul of Juniata's virtual tour (www.juniata.edu/virtualtour), implementing live streaming within the marketing department (which saves the College over $7,000/year in outsourcing costs), and as a whole, enhancing Juniata's video content, which has led to nearly 300,000 views on our YouTube channel in the last three years. Students I have supervised have gone on to work on sets of Nickelodeon shows, manage digital media content at small non-profits, and a wide array of other digital marketing careers.

In addition to my work at Juniata, I am a freelance videographer. I have produced wedding films and small, local business commercials, served as a documentarian videographer on a trip to Haiti and produced marketing videos for a marina that sits on Lake Raystown, Pennsylvania's largest inland lake.
