My name is Forest Meador and I work as a Project Manager/3D visualization artist at M2 Studio in Dallas, Texas. At M2 Studio we create photo-realistic scenes based on schematics, drawings, architectural plans, and illustrations provided to us by our clients. The majority of work we do is for architectural firms, homebuilders, landscape and interior architects, and marketing firms. The renderings and animations we produce are then used as marketing and presentation tools for current and upcoming development projects.

On any given day, I am tasked with building, texturing, lighting, rendering, and/or editing of any number of 3D models, scenes, or landscapes. In the past year, I have worked on and completed over 120 projects at M2 Studio. Every day is filled with the challenges of visualizing the potential of any given architectural design; and every week is graced with the feeling of accomplishment.

It's not easy...but it sure is fun. Read Less

I have spent my entire life in the pursuit of creating realistic images in virtual spaces. At an early age I showed promise with my artistic talents through drawing, painting, and sculpting. When I found out that I could create virtually anything my imagination could invision three-dimensionally on a computer, that became my sole ambition.

My pursuit of becomming a 3D artist led me to The Art Institute of Dallas, where I majored in media arts and animation, with a focus on 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and post production editing. I graduated in June 2011 with a bachelor of fine arts degree, most outstanding graduate award, and best portfolio honors.

Now I work as a 3D visualization artist at M2 Studio in Dallas, TX. At M2 Studio I am required to build interior and exterior spaces, furniture, landscapes, and an assortment of decorative pieces according to specifications provided by our clients. I am also required to build custom textures for these 3D models, and light each scene to create photo-realistic renderings and animations. Our clients include architectural firms, home builders, landscape and interior architects, and marketing firms. Read Less
