Marco Marinangeli, also known as Filicio, was born in Fermo on the 19th of January 1990.

Marco Marinangeli, also known as Filicio, was born in Fermo on the 19th of January 1990.
After the achievement of the arts high school leaving certificate in Restoration and Cultural Heritage, went to Macerata to attend the three years course of Illustration by the Academy of Fine Arts. He graduated on 2013.
In 2011, he took part in the 26th International Biennial of Humorism in the Art of Tolentino, also in the 27th edition.
During the years of Academy, he took part in an important exhibition in the Tricromia Gallery of Rome. He showed two illustrations inspired to the Isaac Singer’s tales.
He collaborated with the column Abat-Jour and the magazine Straoccupati of Pescara.
In 2014 he realized, with other illustrators, the fanzines Trekking and Eating published by Strane Dizioni, an independent publisher of San Severino Marche.
Thanks to these publications, he took part in the Fruit Festival and in an exhibition at the Bilbolbul off, both in Bologna.
In 2013 he attended the ARS IN FABULA’s master of illustration for publishing of Macerata. He graduated with a score of 110/110 with honour. During the master, he collaborated with the publisher Orecchio Acerbo of Rome.
In 2015 he took part in the illustrators exhibition at the Children’s Book Fair of Bologna with five illustrations about The good lion, a tale of Ernest Hemingway.
He still collaborate with a group of artists known as Uomini nudi che corrono, born during the years of Academy. With them, he takes part in a lot of artistical events, art exhibitions and contests.
