Elwin has a background in Industrial Design (BSc) from the University of Technology Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and holds a master's degree in Entertainment Technology (MET) from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a person who loves to get involved in multidisciplinary fields, from art and design to programming and electronics. He worked on various interactive projects as a designer and developer, and collaborated with companies such as TATRC, HITLAB New Zealand, ATR-Promotions, 2K Games and Firaxis Games. At the moment, Elwin is partnering with PartTimeEvil working on a mobile puzzle game called Puzzle Football for the iPhone.
His areas of expertise are interactive products, developing (serious) games and exploring new areas for interactive experiences and simulations. In his spare time he likes to travel, play RTS and FPS games, try out delicious cuisine and practice the art of Kendo.
