“Design with a Story” is a platform created by Begüm Tomruk and Mirko Goetzen, two highly skilled product designers with a global background and experiences in companies like Sony, Nokia, Ziba Design, Grundig and Grohe.

" We have been working in the industrial design industry for several years and have many products in the market. After all that experience, we are convinced that products with a story are more likely to create an emotional connection with the customer. There are many good designers out there. But unfortunately there are not many products with good stories. We have created the platform to tell you our stories.

Begüm Tomruk
She was born in 1987 in Istanbul. After having studied industrial design at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, she gathered experiences at global companies like Grundig and Grohe. Currently she works as a Senior Designer at the Grohe Design Studio.

Mirko Goetzen
Born in1980 in Cologne, Germany. After having studied industrial design at the Folkwang University of Duisburg-Essen and National University of Singapore, he developed his career in companies like Nokia, Ziba Design and Sony. Currently he is working as a Creative Director at the Grohe Design Studio.
