MH Communication Design

I believe that the process is just as important as the outcome, that good design is made possible with clear communication, and that laughter in the workplace is essential to success. I approach design with curiosity and a desire to listen. This curiosity percolates through all aspects of my work and my process.

After graduating from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2006 I continued my passion with communication design by working as a designer and creative director. My folio includes branding and identity, packaging, web, print for publications and marketing collateral, exhibition and signage design. I apply creative thinking and my design expertise to thought-provoking solutions that address commercial needs.

I led creative discovery sessions, polished design briefs, made a lot of coffee, drank a lot coffee, and could often be heard asking innocent by-standers "...wanna hear a joke?"

Clients included: Ener-C, Gardener’s Dream, Miller Genuine Draft Global, White Spot, Leith Wheeler, St. Paul’s Hospital, and SpringFree Trampoline.
