My first and only Job before university earned me valuable skills in customer service, taught me how to work well as a team with other employees. I Interacted with hundreds of community members daily, and was the first and last impression that guests had of Tim Horton’s. So it wasn't the most glamorous position but everyone has to star somewhere and the experience I gained here was invaluable.

I worked for Peters & James doing a renovation/ addition on a 100 Year old home in St. Catharines, ON. I was responsible for the removal of old elements of the house, as well as construction of the addition that housed a new kitchen. The two spaces were seamlessly integrated and I gained valuable first hand experience of how ; structural elements are constructed including, flooring, framing, roofing, pouring foundations, and other general construction knowledge.

I have done a variety of work for Make it Metal. Everything ranging from making brochures and 3d models of stove hoods, to working on finishing the product that the company sells. The variety of work that I have done for this company has taught me some very valuable lessons about how a business is run. Being a part of a growing company was also an amazing experience. I also still do occasional small design projects for Make It Metal.
