In the month of August of 2009 in Turin, the designers Dario Olivero, born in 1984 and Stefano Ollino, born in 1986, founded on the day of the falling stars (the 10th of August) the DORODESIGN creative studio with core business in FURNITURE, PRODUCT and INTERIOR DESIGN. The vision of being an independent design studio was the only means Dario and Stefano had to fulfill this dream. DORODESIGN supplies high end products and services coherent with its vision of simplicity, efficiency and elegance.
In the same period, it was also responsible for the conception, design and publication of 30UNDER30, a book devoted to 30 creative professionals under the age of 30 with the common denominator of Turin city. www.30under30.it
In 2011, next to DORODESIGN, Dario and Stefano founded the independent furnishing brand DOROLIFESTYLE. Through a lifestyle vision, the brand proposes peculiar and fascinating furnishings and accessories. The brand exhibited in various key sites in Milan: ViaFarini, SuperstudioPiù in Via Tortona and the Brian&Barry store in Piazza San Babila. The products belonging to the ZERO, ARIA and collections transform and mutate in a constantly evolving relationship with art, fashion, design and furnishings. DOROLIFESTYLE debuted at various international design events such as OPERAE 2011/2012/2013(Turin), MACEF 2012 (Milan), FUORISALONE del mobile 2012 (Milan), BIENNALE INTERIEUR 2012 (Kortrijk, Belgium) and “TEMPORARY MUSEUM FOR NEW DESIGN – DISCOVERING 2013 (Milan). DORODESIGN's team is a mixture of creative minds coming from different cultures and backgrounds: from design (furniture, product and automotive - car design), to graphic design and marketing and finance field which brought in the studio experiences with well-known brands such as Fiat, I.De.A Institute, Solex, Yamaha, Giugiaro, Continental and J.P. Morgan.

DORODESIGN has received the prestigious IF design award CHINA 2009 and the Red Dot Design Award 2010,with the Sunrise faucet making this wonderful piece a well-known design in expositions in several countries: China, Sweden, Germany, Brazil and Dubai.

In order to differentiate the image and the core businesses, the media agency TRUE FLAVA was born in July 2011 out of a rib of DORODESIGN: the new enterprise deals with GRAPHIC, WEB and INTERACTION DESIGN. In Italy DORODESIGN has worked with various brands including PININFARINA, SONY MUSIC, EMI MUSIC, AUDI, PIAGGIO, GRUPPO DIAGEO, REDBULL, IED TORINO, IAAD, MERCEDES.
DORODESIGN is also interested in the issue of eco-sustainability and has established a partnership with the well-known environmental consultancy firm “STUDIO FIESCHI” with which it is working on the D.A.I. (Design, Ambiente e Innovazione / DESIGN, ENVIRONMENT, INNOVATION) project.
Dario and Stefano are involved in the educational field, collaborating as lecturers (at IED TORINO (Istituto Europeo di Design) and IAAD (Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design) Torino and both have led workshops on Italian Lifestyle at XMUT (XIAMEN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY) and Dario has been speaker at the XXII Simposio Internacional de Diseno Industrial in Monterrey. The contributions of Dario and Stefano to the design field have allowed DORODESIGN team to gain a constant contact with fresh sources of inspiration.
In October 2013, DORODESIGN has been awarded with the Red Dot Design award winner 2013 with the independent project “Sedia3” (Chair3).
