Based in New York, Chuck Grom is an equity analyst with more than two decades of experience. Chuck Grom focuses mainly on supermarket stocks and large-scale department stores, including Macy’s and Wal-Mart. He has covered retail stocks since 2005, when he was a lead analyst for JP Morgan, and he has appeared on CNBC multiple times. In addition, hundreds of news outlets have quoted him over the course of his career.

Currently, Chuck Grom serves as managing director of Gordon Haskett Research Advisors. Before assuming this position, he held similar roles with a number of New York firms, including Deutsche Bank, CRT Sterne Agee, and JP Morgan. While at the latter firm, he and his team were named runner-up in the Institutional Investor Magazine Supermarket Sector Awards. The Wall Street Journal also recognized him with its Best on the Street award in 2010.

Chuck Grom graduate from Holy Cross College with a degree in economics and accounting. After earning his degree, he began his career as a staff accountant with Arthur Andersen LLP. Later, he earned certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst. Read Less
