Showcase & Discover Creative Work

Birmingham, United Kingdom
As a child I spent days perfecting my ideal city out of Lego and as a teenager I destroyed my school books with illustrations and scribbles. From a young age my dream was to become an astronaut, but as I grew older I realised I would probably have to ‘settle’ on becoming a graphic designer! 15 years on and although walking on the moon still sounds appealing, for now I am happy with my cup of hot chocolate, pens, pencils and my trusty Apple Mac computer.

Work Experience

Creed Design

Lead Designer

I work closely with one of the leading casual dinings brands in the UK - Pizza Express. Every building has a bespoke interior inspired by the local area. I create the artwork for the canvases, wallpaper, screens and pendants to create enticing and interesting environments.

Working with some of our other clients, Frankie & Benny's and Wagamama, I provide 3D visualisations, research documents and general design exploration to support the projects.

I am also in control of the brand standards for Creed Design and the associated marketing materials for the studio - advertising, photography, brochures, stationery and content for the website.

The Co-operative

Graphic Designer - Middleweight

I was originally employed to implement a re-brand of one of UK’s most recognised and respected brands - The Co-operative. I was then subsequently asked to stay on and work across the various areas of the business: Food, Travel, Funeralcare, Motors, Corporate and HR.

The majority of my work involves producing the design and print of leaflets, brochures, POS and coming up with ideas for branding and advertising campaigns. More recently I have taken on the photography for the society as well as assisting the multimedia designer with the production of the in-house videos.

For over 3 years I have played an integral part in the everyday functions of the design studio,
working with tight deadlines, liaising with high profile clients and continually delivering successful design concepts.
