His workdays spent helping people achieve their architectural dreams, construction professional Chris McNally of Falcon Enterprise Associates uses his free time to pursue interests of the intellectual variety. American history and philosophy are two of his chief pursuits, particularly the revolutionary political and social events of the 1960s. Chris McNally has written thoughtfully on this era while off the clock, composing a long essay between 2007 and 2012 titled, “Principles for a Profound Leadership: The Self Worth of a Nation.” In this essay he proposes that, if considered collectively, Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, Robert Kennedy, and President John F. Kennedy possess the rare attributes of Plato’s theoretical philosopher king, making their assassinations all the more tragic.

Christopher McNally first entered the building industry as a painter, plasterer, and tile setter and went on to serve what amounted to multiple apprenticeships with various construction mentors. He discovered his first mentor, a man he calls a “true construction genius,” while working at the construction company Bohn Fiore. Christopher McNally credits this man with showing him how to visualize the smallest details of a project in order to troubleshoot problems before beginning to build. Another mentor, at the construction company Taocon, taught him how to turn challenging and ambitious ideas into a methodical schedule of tasks to be completed at predictable costs.

Today, Christopher McNally employs these lessons at Falcon Enterprise Associates, where his multi-faceted skill set has helped ensure the company’s success. Read Less
