Since 2012, Charles Clement has served as the president and chief executive officer of the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). His daily responsibilities include overseeing the performance of nearly 1,000 employees and managing health care operations in 18 Alaskan communities. During his tenure, Charles Clement has generated a $10 million increase in revenue throughout the SEARHC facilities and has directed state and federally funded contracts totaling more than $55 million.

Mr. Clement completed a bachelor’s in economics and political science at Northern Arizona University. He also holds a master of public administration from the University of Alaska. Additionally, he has completed executive leadership programs at the Indian Health Service and Harvard Business School.

Active in his community, Charles Clement regularly contributes to the Alaska Children’s Trust, which advocates for the prevention of child abuse and neglect. In addition, he has offered his time as a board member of the Healing Hands Foundation, the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, Alaska Native Professional Association, Cisco Systems Technical Advisory Committee, Pacific Northern Academy and the Alaska Federation of Natives among others.
