My experience as an art director at National Geographic Magazine gave me the opportunity to work on aviation, paleontology, medical, environmental and space science stories. Terribly exciting as each day was like taking a graduate seminar in a new subject.

Additionally, I have worked within a wide range of industries and on a variety of projects: space station studies for NASA, industrial projects ranging from hospital beds to consumer electronics, product illustrations of robotic sensors, a book on how things work, interactive educational kiosks for North Carolina State Parks, and illustrations designed to aid pilots in training for AOPA Flight Training and Pilot Magazines.
