Anthony R. Page is an independent film professional, and a staunch advocate for cultural arts expansion and independent development of the film, television and theater industry in the Southeast. Through a variety of cross platform initiatives, he works continually to integrate his expertise in the arts with community enhancement and economic development.
Anthony is a veteran of the US Navy, which enabled him to travel extensively throughout the US & Europe, developing his creative palate and growing a global cultural sensitivity and perspective. Upon completing his commitment to the military, he matriculated into four degree programs at Georgia State University in Accounting, Finance, Theater and Film & Video Production. His education, experiences and passion for the people continue to motivate his choices and professional pursuits. He considers himself a life-long student, and recently completed an MBA at the University of Phoenix and nearing completion on a certification as a Multi-media Specialist with Sessions College of Professional Design.
In 2008 he established Blue Bistro Creative with the purpose of developing relevant and timely productions for an evolving cultural audience. The company is currently co-producing and directing a TV pilot called Prentice Place with Drew2Media Works and is completing a commercial series called "the Get Dirty Campaign," for a company based in Ontario, Canada.
In addition to many creative exploits, He has produced a series of events including Visual Soul, which was part of the James Brown Music Festival and The Nina Simone Experience, both celebrated the life and legacy of entertainment greats through a mixed presentation of visual and performing arts.
Anthony currently serves as the President and Board Chair for the CSRA African American Arts Alliance. The organization’s goal is to encourage increased patronage, promotion and investment in the local arts and entertainment industry.
