Testimony

I began searching for answers from God nearly a decade ago now when the man I was going to marry was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Burkitt’s Lymphoma. Jon passed away in the spring of 2014, but the Lord used his sickness and the events surrounding it to bring me to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. I understand from my own experience of salvation that we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ through grace, and that faith truly is a gift from God and not from ourselves. Jesus, in my day-to-day life, is my everything. He is my Savior, my Lord, my strength, my shield and defense, my comfort, my provider. I depend on him for everything and I know that I live for him and that my life is not my own.
