Arash and Kelly are the co-founders of Mannequino, a unique pop-up mannequin design.

The patented design is disruptive and forward thinking. They have partnered with Philips housing the Philps Hue system under Mannequino's skin to create a highly desirable internal lighting system remotely controlled by a smart device, which also syncs to music apps.

Early adopters of this clever closed loop manufacturable concept, benefit from 50%-90% reductions in logistics and carbon emissions; and the non-toxic recyclable panels are designed to be replaced individually at very low cost, as opposed to the painfully ongoing running costs of a traditional resin mannequin. With exciting new installations on the horizon and projects with Muji, Finisterre, Henri Lloyd, John Smedley and trials with Puma and Adidas already underway, the founders are looking forward to broadening the range.

Arash and Kelly perviously ran a design studio creating art & design projects and retailing their own products. The Arash & Kelly brand of products were distributed and retailed in design-led outlets in Europe and USA, and the popularity of products such as the Genius Pad, the Big Clip, ZiPP Lightshades and 'Lord of the Flies' Flyswat have established their reputation as creators of iconic product ideas. The studio collaborated on research and consultancy projects with industry leaders to create new knowledge, including a collaboration with Stratasys Fortus Inc. and their patented fused deposition modeling (FDM) technology.

The studio worked with cultural institutions such as the Victoria & Albert museum, designing and delivering workshops and events; participating in academic posts and lectures when they have time. Read Less
