Alejandro Martínez de Velasco

Alejandro is Licensed Architect by COAM (ES) and ARB (UK), CG Artist and BIM Specialist. He studied at Escuela de Arquitectura Universidad Europea de Madrid. He took part in an exchange student program at Azrieli School of Architecture & Urbanism Ottawa, Canada. He also holds a Master in Architecture Visualization. He was awarded Distinction among the Top 10 Best Final Thesis of Madrid at PFC COAM.

He has participated as an external collaborator for Biennale of Architecture & Urbanism Shenzhen in 2013. He has worked as an intern architect at OhLab in Madrid and architectural assistant at Gustafson Porter + Bowman at their London studio, during 2014. Later, he joined Foster + Partners where he worked as an architect having the chance to be part of a wide variety of projects; for instance, large infrastructure projects like New Extension for Hamad International Airport in Qatar, Slussen Masterplan and Sharjah Masterplan; and intermediate scale project like 50 Hudson Yards Tower and 1100 Sixth Avenue Brookfield Tower, both in New York.

In September of 2017, Alejandro joined Carlos León García back in Madrid and together founded NOEMA studio, an office that works for the needs of XXI century, to contribute to the progress of the world and betterment of humanity.
