I am an artist – primarily a graphic designer. I graduated with a Product and Systems Design Engineering degree before pursuing a masters in Design for Communication. Getting into this field I realised that creativity is like a rat in a kitchen.. so I set around digital media, web design and fashion blogging. What I love about it, is the collaborative element. Aside from the technical knowledge and specialism, ingredients make the design come to life. My aim is to use illustration, strong typography and photography in order to communicate interesting, thought-provoking and important or not messages. Fitting the puzzle together is the most challenging aspect for me.

In my current position as graphic designer for the Marketing, Communications and Development of the University of Westminster, I started as an intern graphic designer and within months I was put in charge of the graphic design for all the printed and online collateral of the University. In this position, I am able to apply the knowledge from my university studies in a work situation. I am responsible for layout, pre-press and the preparation of print files working closely with the senior editor, production staff and printers.

Over the past years, I have become highly proficient in Adobe CS Suite on both Mac OSX and Windows XP. I am able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and ensure the work is produced at the highest. In particular, I have extensive experience designing branding collateral, editorial magazines and catalogues, advertisements, and banners. I have the ability to come up with creative concepts for campaigns and possess extensive knowledge of the marketing industry. Having a real passion for branding and advertising, I can keep delivering new ideas and creative concepts and I take pride in consistently delivering excellent results.

My core strengths include, but are not limited to the following:
• dynamic and enterprising way of working with clients from production to delivery and everything
in between.
• a comprehensive understanding of current and future design trends
• proactive and able to use initiative when solving problems.
• commercial awareness
• having a fast moving `can do` attitude
• an eye on detail. Read Less
