Natural Disaster Shelter Project 2013

• What we can do to help those after
a natural disaster occurs?
• Survivors needs: shelter, water, and
communication for 6 to 8 weeks.
• Constructed a collapsible shelter with solar fabric,
bamboo structure, and aluminum frame.
• A visual stimulating graphic presentation using Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office to show
how the shelter was accomplished.
• An in-depth printed booklet showing detailed
accomplishments, answers to questionnaires, and further
research of costs and transportation.

Gulfstream BBQ Grill Project 2013

• Using branding and style of Gulfstream to produce a BBQ grill and three tools.
• The BBQ grill final design was based on the luxury plane interior.
• Best choice of materials: aluminum, oak plywood to emulate the feel of Gulfstream.
• Finished product was displayed with printed posters using Rhino 3D, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
• Final overview with renders and costs were recorded in a printed booklet.

Bus Transportation Project

Investigated the issues with public transportation and what can be improved from it.
Observations were conducted of the bus flow from stop, drop off, and pickup of passengers.
Conclusion showed small seat size and students carrying portfolio bags.
Constructed full size mockup of bus interior and flow.
