I am a quiet person and I am at peace with myself most of the time. But the outside environment is ever changing and happening. Therefore I believe at times it is important to react and share our emotions. This is what I have tried to portray through my poster and illustration. Keeping this in mind, I started to create a rough sketch of the character and the illustration. The primary goal here was to create something powerful with which I can relate. I have used both English and Hindi alphabets for the poster. I used Hindi as it is my mother tongue and its script, Devanagari, has a very cursive and artistic feel to it. After creating the rough sketch, I opened it up on Illustrator. First, I used the pen tool to ink the illustration, using different fonts as a reference for creating the shape of the alphabets. Once this was done, I started with the coloring process. I chose a color palette that is vibrant and pleasing. Here, I added some extra elements, such as the flow-like background illustration giving a feeling of depth. I exported this illustration to Photoshop, which is where I developed the poster. Using Photoshop, I just let my creativity flow, to create an obscure and abstract representation of what I wanted to express.
